Petzl - Dual Connect Vario

New for 2021, the Connect Adjust Vario is an adjustable lanyard with variable length arms. 

In essence, the Vario is the Dual connect adjust but without a sewn attachment point in the centre. Instead, you attach the lanyard through your harness with a rethreaded overhand knot which means you can make each arm whatever length you desire. For those of you who aren't keen on the larks footing on the regular model, this also offers a neat solution.

In practice, the dual arms are perfect for multi-pitch sport climbing and making stacked abseils. In a multi-pitch setting, you are able to quickly attach yourself into two anchor points whereas during a long abseil, you have an adjustable lanyard neatly paired with an extended belay device for greater comfort.
