Dick's Climbing is a bricks and mortar specialist climbing shop. All internet orders are shipped from the shop and everything available online can also be purchased in the shop at the same price.
Payment can be made in a variety of ways, by telephone, cheque, bank transfer, PayPal or securely online. If in doubt as to which payment method is best for you please contact the shop by telephone or e-mail.
On the product pages you will see products are listed as having one of the following availability statuses. If you need more precise information on availability, numbers available perhaps, please get in touch.
In Stock - This item is on the shelf in the Bristol shop and is available for immediate dispatch.
Ships 48 Hours - This item is either already on it's way to us, or it will be ordered as soon as we receive your order. If for any reason it will take longer than 48 hours to arrive here we will get in touch with you.
Ships 2 - 3 days - Same as above but this item has a slightly longer lead time.
Ships 5 days - Same as above but this item has a slightly longer lead time.
Pre-Order - This product has not been released yet, but we are taking orders and will ship as soon as the stock arrives. If you would like a lead time and one is not listed in the product description please get in touch.
Currently Unavailable - For one reason or another this item is not available to dispatch within 1 week, perhaps it is a new item and not out yet, or perhaps there are temporary supply problems. Get in touch if you need more information. We can also put one on back order for you and dispatch it as soon as it is available again.
Shipping Costs UK and International

UK orders are shipped either by a next working day courier service or by Royal Mail. Orders received before 2pm Monday – Friday should be be shipped the same day, we will try and ship orders received between 2pm and 3pm the same day but won't always manage it. Orders received after 3pm will probably have to be shipped the next working day. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.
Most items visible on this website are IN STOCK and available for delivery within 1 or 2 days.
If we cannot deliver your order within 1 week we shall contact you straight away with an ETA and give you the chance to change or cancel you order. If your order is urgent however it is best to give us a call and let us know, we will then do our best to rush it though.
Please allow an extra day's shipping for bank holidays.
Please contact the shop by telephone or e-mail before returning any goods. Faulty goods will be repaired, replaced or refunded depending on the circumstance. When returning goods please enclose your name, address, telephone number and if possible, date of purchase and order number.
You have 7 days from the date you receive the order to cancel if you wish. If you wish to do so you should contact the shop by telephone or e-mail within 7 days of receipt and arrange return at your own expense. Once the goods are received in good re–sellable condition the refund will be processed, where possible, within 24 hours.
Please note if you are cancelling for any reason other than a warranty return we do not refund anything we charged you for postage when you ordered. If your order was shipped with free postage we will deduct the cost of the postage from the refund amount.
We can not accept returns of custom products (e.g custom chalkbags or rope cut to length) unless there is a fault with the item.
Dick’s Climbing collects your information solely for the purpose of processing yours orders.
For web sales payment details are collected and processed by SagePay or PayPal. We will not at any point have access to your card details.
Telephone sales will be processed by Dick’s Climbing though the same chip and pin machine used for over the counter sales, or though a secure online portal powered by SagePay. Your card details will not be recorded for any longer than is necessary to process your order.
Any personal information collected though the website or otherwise, shall never be divulged to any third party other than the courier used to deliver your order, who will be given your address and phone number to ensure your order reaches you and your email address so they can keep you up to date with the status of your delivery.
