The 9.5 Crag Classic is a versatile single rope for all-round use and a perfect rope for sport climbing when you want to minimise weight without compromising on the durability. The 9.5mm diameter provides a great balance between high durability and low weight and bulk.
It is part of Mammut's overhauled rope range and is BLUESIGN certified demonstrating its strong eco-credentials, the Crag Classic is based on the very popular Mammut 9.5mm Infinity.
This classic version is untreated for great value. If you want it to stand up to abuse better or need a rope for wet or icy environments consider the DRY version which has the core and sheath treated to massively improve durability and prevent water ingress. If you're looking for shorter lengths of the same rope for use in the gym check out the 9.5 Gym Classic.
