The Click Up is an assited breaking device with an ingenious design that uses its shape to brake the action of the rope when the climber falls or sits back on the rope. It is an excellent option for climbers who want an assited braking device for indoor or outdoor sport climbing but who don't get on well with the Gri Gri or who want to be able to hold the dead rope in their left hand.
The Click Up also has the advantage of belaying more like a traditional passive belay device and so is arguably easier to learn than some other assisted braking models. It comes with it's own specific carabiner supplied.
