Beal - 9.1mm Joker Unicore - Dry Cover
The classic Beal Joker is an excellent do anything rope.
It is rated as a single, half and twin rope, meaning it can be used either in a pair for traditional or alpine climbing, or on it's own for sport climbing. While it's 9.1mm diameter makes it perhaps most suitable to onsight sport climbing, it can lend it's had to anything. Which is why we stock it in a large range of lengths of between 50m and 100m.
This version features Beal's Dry Cover treatment, which while not as good as their Golden Dry treatment, is still excellent and will be more than adequate for occasional alpine use.
The Joker now also uses Beal's Unicore technology for an increased safety margin, which will be reassuring on a thin rope.
