Le Pirate - Belay Glasses
Belay glasses have become more and more popular in recent times, gone are the craned, aching necks amongst belayers!
One of the reasons they haven't seen widespread adoption though has been their cost, Le Pirate' glasses overcome this being brilliantly priced, just £25 a pair and yet are still top notch quality and come with hard case, strap, lens wipe and soft case.
Not only that they have skull and crossbones on, utterly brilliant!

good value. solid. why pay more ?
I haven’t tried other types of Belay Glasses, but have found these to do the job just fine saving a lot of neck ache.
As good as models costing over twice as much!
Like the title says great value for price, they don't quite have the field of view a more expensive pair would afford you. As a result you still have to very so slightly crane your neck but uncomfortable so as you would without them. If you're looking for a cheap alternative from the normal, which are comfortable to wear then I would highly recommend these.
These were recommended to me by someone at my local wall. My partner has a pair which cost twice as much and are much more flimsy. No more stiff necks when your partner is working a route. Plus brilliant, speedy service from Dicks!! Thank you.
It was out of stock when I ordered this but received an email the next day to say when it was going to arrive so good communication from Dick's Climbing. The glasses came in a classy case, a neck strap and pouch. I took it for some testing outdoors on some sport routes and it worked better than expected. The small karabiner was a great bonus as I could clip the case to my harness when I'm not using the glasses. It felt the viewing angle not exactly 90 degrees so quite a few times I had to take a few steps back away from the wall to get a good view of the climber. I still had to tilt my head slightly upwards but a lot less than without the glasses! Definitely would reduce any neck pain/strain. Can't complain much given the excellent value for money. It's a good quality pair of glasses you're getting here. I can't say how the more expensive ones out there compare as I've not used them but would definitely recommend this.
These are great - slightly weird sensation at first but doesn't take long to get used to, and now my neck doesn't hurt after a belaying!
