La Sportiva - Miura Velcro
One of the most popular Sports Climbing shoes of recent years.
Performing well when it comes to edging, smearing as well as hooking on beastly overhanging terrain, the Miura really is a jack of all trades. Miuras have enough straps to provide a well-adjusted and precise fit, whilst having the ease of use of velcro shoes meaning you can easily slip them on and off.
Be sure to check the fit, as with all Sportiva shoes the size you take will usually be around one and a half to two UK sizes smaller than you would expect, worth popping in to the shop and trying them on the first time.

I bought these when my Mythos wore out, with the intention of using them as a more technical all-round shoe. That hasn't quite worked out, and I bought another pair of Mythos for most trad routes. Still the Miuras have performed excellently for sport climbing and bouldering, and I'm now starting to put them on for shorter, harder trad routes too. The visible sharp edge has worn down but I haven't noticed a drop in performance (if anything they've improved). Despite the non-stretch lining, they have evolved to my foot shape (or my foot has moulded to the shoe!) over the first month or so and are now a very comfortable shoe
Had these for just over a year now. Used fairly regularly as an all round trad and sport shoe. These shoes evolve a lot over time! Initially the stiff, downturned sole and thick rubber on the toe are great for steep edging and hooking. Over time these shoes stretch about a quarter of a size and really mould to your foot. The sharp edges round off and the shoe softens up making it much more sensitive on slabby delicate stuff. This is true for most shoes I guess but these really seam to develop into a better all round shoe (in my opinion). I struggled initially on delicate friction moves, but all is good now. A good buy and surprisingly durable!
