DMM - Torque Nut Set 1 - 4
DMM Torque nuts are famous for their multitude of placement possibilities.
Carefully designed to offer a plethora of active and passive positions it's only after you've had a play that you realise just how valuable they are on your rack.
More importantly, come winter they're a lot more reliable than cams in icy and snowy conditions and can be hammered into the most unusual of placements when you're desperate for a bit of security.

The green and red go up every route with me and always seem to find somewhere to make me feel a bit better about life. Bigger ones are a bit more niche but you'll be pleased you had them once they're sitting sweetly in a big slot!
Great in winter when it's too icy for cams. Tend not place them so much on trad routes but very useful for building belays at Stanage. Also great for letting people know you're coming.
A great set of hex's, mainly use the yellow(3) and the red(2) because the green(1) is roughly the same size as the largest DMM Wallnut. The blue(4) is just so big, and so noisy, I've only ever placed it 3 or 4 times, and most of that was in the peaks! Nevertheless, all 4 are a vital part of my rack and i'd recommend them to anyone, the slight camming action makes them perfect in so many unnusual places!
