I bought a 70 metre Python over a year ago with some 30+ metre continental sport routes in mind. At the time it was much cheaper than most other single ropes. i was a little unsure of buying a cheap rope, after all these are the things we trust our lives to and in the past I've often gone for dry-treated ropes. Of course I knew they all go through a certification process. It is rated to less UIAA falls than many other single ropes I've seen or had in the past. In the end I got one though and I haven't been disappointed at all. It handles well, especially for the price I paid and still seems in very good condition given its usage.
