Dick’s Climbing is a bricks and mortar specialist climbing shop. All internet orders are shipped from the shop and everything available online can also be purchased in the shop at the same price.
Payment
Payment can be made in a variety of ways, by telephone, cheque, bank transfer or securely online. If in doubt as to which payment method is best please contact the shop by telephone or e-mail.
Shipping
Orders of over £50 are shipped for free; other orders carry a £5 postage charge. If you think your order should incur a smaller postage charge, perhaps because it is a particularly light item yo should contact the shop to discuss this.
All orders are shipped either by a 24 hour courier service or by 1st class Royal Mail. Orders received before 1pm Tuesday – Friday will be shipped the same day, other orders will be shipped the next working day. Please note, except on very special occasions we are not open and do not ship on Mondays.
Returns
Please contact the shop by telephone or e-mail before returning any goods. Faulty goods will be repaired, replaced or refunded depending on the circumstance. When returning goods please enclose your name, address, telephone number and if possible, date of purchase and order number.
You have 7 days from the date you received the order to cancel if you wish. If you wish to do so you should contact the shop by telephone or e-mail within 7 days of receipt and arrange return at your own expense. Once the goods are received in good re–sellable condition the refund will be processed, where possible, within 24 hours.
Privacy
Dick’s Climbing collects your information solely for the purpose of processing yours orders.
For web sales payment details are collected and processed by Secure Trading and Dick’s Climbing will not at any point have access to your card details.
Telephone sales will be processed by Dick’s though the same chip and pin machine used for over the counter sales. Your card details will not be recorded for any longer than is necessary to process your order.
Any personal information collected though the website or otherwise, shall never be divulged to any third party other than the courier used to deliver your order, who will be given your address and phone number to ensure your order reaches you.
